The Carl Lewis Viewing Platform at the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust nature reserve, Brandon Marsh, is the result of fundraising by Carl’s family and friends, who wanted to create a lasting legacy to commemorate and celebrate Carl’s life. The platform was officially opened in January 2024, and is a fabulous place to sit and watch the varied wildlife, to enjoy the beautiful views or just to enjoy the peace and quiet. The platform is located on the Kingfisher trail and there have recently been some new signposts installed which should make it even easier to find!
Do let us know when you visit the platform by emailing your photos and thoughts to info@carllewisfoundation.org – we would love to know what you think.
While we were installing the signposts, a visitor said that the platform is absolutely his favourite spot on the reserve and thinks it is a wonderful addition to the site. He said he can spend hours there when he visits just taking it all in.
