Foundation makes £500 grant

The Foundation is pleased to be able to make a donation of £500 to Maddie and her family.

Maddie started having headaches and sickness over a few months and had an MRI scan that showed a large tumour.  She was sent to Birmingham Children’s Hospital where she was diagnosed with high grade Medulloblastoma.  Maddie had brain surgery on 14th June, which resulted in her having Posterior Fosse Syndrome (PFS) and has led to the loss of use of her left arm and unable to walk or see properly.   Maddie’s cancer has now spread to the bottom of her spine and into the spinal fluid. The grant will help to pay for travel costs to Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Christies Hospital in Manchester.
